WELCOME TO PORTERS PARK GOLF CLUB A PREMIER PARKLAND COURSE SINCE 1899
As a members’ club, owned by the circa. 700 members, we take great pride in being welcoming, hospitable and inclusive. We have a diverse demographic group of members, in terms of age, gender, ethnic background and beliefs. Whatever your golfing ability, whether you’re a scratch player or on a higher handicap, Porters Park offers tremendous opportunities to participate, meet other members and make great friends both on the course and in the clubhouse.
We provide a vibrant and varied entertainment programme which includes tribute acts, quiz nights, themed food nights, classical concerts and an elegant Summer Ball. While these events are predominantly aimed at members, they are also greatly enjoyed by accompanying partners, many of whom don’t play golf.
The club listens to, and communicates with its members, through "open house surgeries" and encourages open and constructive feedback. We maintain an informative website and publish our own monthly newsletter, called Tee Times, which includes topical and current news items to keep all members informed.
We are a well managed club, with very dedicated professional teams, under the leadership of Tim Knight our interim secretary. All of our proceeds are invested back into the course and the clubhouse.
We have membership categories, for men and women of:
Membership is currently available in a number of these categories, and new members are always welcome. New members pay a one-off joining fee and an annual subscription.
